How to Install and Activate Saily eSIM

Start with the essentials

Check the exact device model and sales region against Saily’s compatibility information. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. Having an “Add eSIM” menu is a useful clue, but it does not replace checking the model and account restrictions. Update your phone software and keep enough battery for setup.

Choose the right plan

Compare destination coverage, data allowance, validity, and the activation deadline with your travel dates. Installation and the start of a data plan are different events. Check your order’s actual activation terms rather than relying on an old blog post. Save your confirmation and make sure you can sign in to the purchasing account.

Install while you are online

1. Connect to reliable Wi-Fi or another working internet connection.
2. Download the Saily app from the official app-store links.
3. Sign in with the account used for the purchase and open the eSIM installation flow.
4. Choose installation on this device and approve the phone’s system prompts.
5. Keep the app open until setup finishes. Give the line a recognizable label, such as “Travel data.”
6. Confirm that the new eSIM is listed in the phone’s SIM settings.

Set up for arrival

At your covered destination, enable the Saily line and select it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line as instructed. Disable automatic mobile-data switching to avoid falling back to your home carrier. Saily recommends disabling the primary SIM to avoid unexpected roaming charges. If you choose to retain it for calls or verification texts, check your carrier’s charges first.

Test the connection

Turn Wi-Fi off briefly and open a small webpage. Check the plan status in the app. If it fails, verify the data line, roaming, destination, and available allowance before changing deeper settings. Do not delete a profile as your first troubleshooting step.

Keep a fallback

Download your hotel address, transport directions, and order details before leaving home. Keep activation credentials private. If installation is interrupted or the plan cannot connect, use Wi-Fi to contact official support with the model, error message, and steps already tried.
